Our Projects

The project started out as a website re-design. The client already had a website, but wanted a new look. They had provided a few ideas of what they wanted the new site to look like. I started off with a prototype to get a desired design. Then I coded the website using HTML, CSS, and bootstrap.

For this project, I redesigned a webpage for a disaster survival kit. I began the project with a wireframe of what i wanted it to look like overall, after which i created this mockup in illustrator. All the grahics in the hero image i designed by hand, as well as the images of the survival kit that are further down the page.

This project that I have been working on with a client. It is not completed yet. This is going to be done through WordPress except for the landing page which is done using HTML, Bootstrap and CSS3 animations. With this site is going to be used for having visitors to the site be able to purchase the clients books.

Where it all started

We meet each other through the WEB UX program at Weber State University. The program was new and very small when we started. Therefore, We had a-lot of the same classes together. We quickly developed friendships and graduated Spring 2019 together. Shortly after graduation, we came together to talk about starting our own business. This is where Peak UX|Design was born. Peak UX|Design is a company that was created to service people in the Ogden area with all their Design and UX needs, whether that's creating a website, application, or putting together custom graphics. We have you covered.

Dallin steed
ux designer

Hey, I'm Dallin, and I love everything UX. From processes like wire-framing, prototyping, user testing and survey research, I have developed a love for the entire process. Graduating from Weber State University in Spring 2019 with a bachelors degree in Web and User Experience, I attained a whole plethora of skills necessary to thrive in this business. I feel that i'm a multi-faceted individual with a diverse set of talents, without trying to toot my own horn too much. In my off-time i enjoy golfing, riding my motorcycle, and hanging around my wife and brand new baby boy.

Conner christiansen
Full-stack/graphic designer

I got into Web development/Computer Science when I started high school. I had a very entry level class to how programming languages work. I decided to start my Computer Science path my Junior year when I started taking classes. It wasn't until after graduating high school and getting my Associates shortly after in 2017 that someone told me about a new program at WSU. The new program in question was Web and User Experience. After deciding to switch my field from CS, I graduated from Weber State University in Spring 2019 with a Bachelors degree in Web and User Experience. Throughout the program, I was able to obtain a lot of useful skills that I could apply to a job after graduation. After many attempts at many companies, I landed a job back at Weber State University, where I'm currently working as a Systems Application Programmer. In the short time working in this position, I have gained a lot of experience in front/backend frameworks and languages. The best part is I get to do a little bit of everything from prototyping and getting feedback to coding the final product. This has helped me stay up to date on my skills and expand on them even further. When I'm not working, I enjoy just about anything car related, as well as gaming with friends
